She has more than 16 years of experience as a women’s health physiotherapist, both in the public and private sector. Sharona completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at La Trobe University in 2004 and her post graduate certificate in Pelvic Floor and Continence Physiotherapy through the University of Melbourne in 2007.  She has worked in London at The Portland Hospital for Women and Children and in Melbourne, at the Mercy Hospital for Women, Masada Private Hospital, Frances Perry Hospital and currently at St Vincent’s Private Hospital.

Sharona is passionate about providing holistic care for women.  She is committed to delivering high quality outcomes in pelvic health and breast care, particularly for mastitis, blocked ducts and other lactation related conditions.  Her unique housecall service, especially in the early postnatal period, reflects her dedication to patient centred care and is often a lifesaver for mothers and families.

Hayley Sternson is a passionate and caring physiotherapist, as well as a mum of two.

She is interested in all aspects of pelvic health and consults with Femme Physio on a part time basis.
She has worked exclusively in women’s and men’s pelvic health physiotherapy for over 15 years.  She completed her post graduate certificate in Pelvic Floor and Continence Physiotherapy in 2007 and since then she has co-owned her own private practice clinic, been awarded APA titling as a Women’s health and Continence physiotherapist, and is involved in teaching undergraduate physiotherapy students at La Trobe University. In 2018 she completed further post graduate training in pelvic organ prolapse and fitting pessaries to manage prolapse.  Currently, as well as consulting and teaching, she is completing her Masters in Physiotherapy (Pelvic Health) through the University of Melbourne.
